Very true. And as much as we want to drop people in easy to consume and manage boxes, may we not slip into the bias trap of failing to recognize that you can’t always tell who is and who is not privileged by looking at them. The wodespread socioeconomic effects of poverty do not care about gender, race, religion, sexual orientation or political party. There are milllions of suffering people here in the United States. Some are right in our faces every day crowded into inner city housing projects while others are hidden in the woods and hills completely out of sight of the general population and out of the reach of most social benefot programs. There are statistical averages that can inform but the best practice is to never assume and treat all people with respect as members of the human race.

Saw this and it's strikingly weird how easily it shows the differences and what reality is vs perception. Good post Sir.
