What happened? I thought Combat units were supposed to be lethal. Has PC interfered with how lethal combat should be?

It’s not PC, it’s the lack of training resources and time. Now 75%(not supported by stats, just to state a point) of military training is on SHARP and dumb PowerPoint classes and such. Take out those pointless JKO classes that no one even pays attention to, and send these troops out to the field more and shoot houses. This training shouldn’t be limit to just SOF units

I agree. We spent 2 hours learing about transgender and changing their gender marker and learning what if we have a transgender female to male who gets pregnant after the marker was changed. This should be an S1 function and not informing the whole brigade. Yes, death by powerpoint.

If I was in charge of our combat forces, I’d be fed up too. Mattis is old school and so am I, and damned proud of it. You can only depend on support for a little while. Pretty soon the rats come out of their holes and will kill you, unless you personally kill them first.

SGT (Join to see) - Does it seem that the breakdown of the personal & build-up of the unit is no longer a focus? Rather the focus has turned to harassment, hazing, and bullying? With all the extra training on "PC" training, is there really enough time for adequate MILITARY training?

SSgt (Join to see), I don’t know what the focus is today. I was harassed, hazed, and bullied in BCT and I came out a better man and soldier. It’s only six weeks. At 73, I can almost stand on my head for six weeks. Good Lord Airman. No offense to you but there are no excuses for being lazy or untrained in the very Military they volunteered for. If they wanted to be in something easy, they should have joined the Girl Scouts.
