The fact is, the design and building this monument, which must be considered art, is in and of itself history. At the time this, and many others that are on public land, were built, they were a work of their times, a historical event. This needs to be appealed to the Supreme Court. If not, this could set a precedence that would allow a court to decide the markers in our national cemeteries would all have to come down. Going down this path will be devestating to our country and our Constitution.
