It’s 2018 And SFC Alwyn Cashe Still Hasn’t Been Awarded The Medal Of Honor. Why?

There has been a few posts as of late talking about investigations into the MOH and should there be additional investigators or independent investigators. That's fine and all, but T&P brings up one case where it's CLEAR he should've gotten it, and hasn't. Where is the outrage for this Soldiers case? Why hasn't senior level leaders both civilian and military looked into it? Why is no one held accountable? Two MOH's were awarded for the same battle, SFC Smith's case resembles SFC Cashe's but Cashe's still hasn't been processed? Lets do right by those who give it all for others. This is NOT a knock on Trump. But should be brought to his awareness.

We have a SECDEF who was in the military when this happened. We have a SECDEF who could easily reach out to previous commanders and senior enlisted, and SFC Cashe's troops and get the answers to move this along. Mattis has the weight to make this right. I just wish there was a more direct way to make him aware of this clear wrong. He'd make it right.

Good question. It seems that from time to time, we discover someone from the Civil War, and every one since that wasmissed or inappropriately awarded lesser awards. The process say about two years, this is a disgrace.
