Agreed. CNN and Mr Hogg are entwined in a symbiotic relationship (host and parasite) and will continue the rant until ratings drop. The best way of accomplishing that (and stopping that annoying buzz) is to ignore them. Laura Ingraham simply gave them another shot of longevity. I wish she hadn't

The "he's just a kid" position is moronic as he has made himself into a national figure and is fair game.
It was dumb of her to criticize him for his grades and non-acceptance at UCLA.
She was right to apologize.
Finally, his GPA and SAT's were fine. His downfall for acceptance into the UC system has more to do with the fact that he is a White heterosexual male, however, now that he has a "victim card" to play he should probably resubmit.
All can be right.

PFC Jim Wheeler - I was unaware that he brought up the issue of the grades. I thought Ingraham dug it up (which really didn't square with her style). Well that changes the course of another conversation I was having with another. Thanks for that intel.

Not much to debate when the article is correct for the most part. She screwed up royally in what she did. I agree she ONLY "sorry but not sorry" because of monetary backlash, not because she felt "sorry". He was right in not accepting it. I disagree with the absolute statement where it labels conservatives as ALL of one thing. I know a few die hard conservative Trumpers who love their weapons but acknowledge something has to be done with the laws. Not all Libs are "gun-snatching" pansies either.

If you are referring to the part I think you are, it read more as a generalization of our polarized political sphere than any absolute statement to be applied to all people who consider themselves one or the other.
