The majority of Afghanistan population desire Shria Law. Are we denying them their desire? Do you know what our National Interest is there Sir?

This is definitely a war of attrition and the Taliban is testing our staying power. I do not think there exists a viable peace accord because the Taliban insists on a state under Sharia Law, and considers the government as heretics. They are content with the asymmetric fighting tactics instead of peer on peer battles. When we leave they will use more conventional tactics.

Time after time these people have shown how resilient they are. It will take persistence over generations to defeat them.
