I wonder what voting means to an Iraqi. Both Shia and Sunni. Shiria Law, is Shiria Law.
Peace in Iraq with Iran and AQ? I will take that bet. I bet, hate and discontent will continue.

I guess that the thrill of voting wore off pretty quickly. Remember that first election when voters turned out and proudly displayed their purple thumbs even though they had been threatened?

I hope Iraq does not disenfranchise the Sunnis. On the counterinsurgency, it is proof the people (militias) helping fight the insurgents is a key to winning. I have no comment on the politics as power seems to shift like the sand in the desert.
