I read this as a fluff piece trying to cover up Mueller's failure. Many have military experience and some become useless POS when they get deeply buried in the political crap heap. There are many examples so nothing he did in the past gives him a pass for his current BS.

1SG Dennis Hicks - I really don't know what else to say. You have your opinion on this matter and I have mine. It is evident we are not going to change the other's mind.

Again, its all out there in print, it isn't my opinion its fact, I am sure they closed certain loopholes but drama queens want to feed their hate so the stick to their guns and pretend their reality is true. I am sure the remaining 15,399.999.000draftees didn't use their daddies money

I hired a former Combat Navy Corpsman that served with distinction in the Gulf War as an Assitant Manager at a Sub Shop I owned. He tried repeatedly to rob me blind of cash. So someone has to explain to me what exactly Robert Mueller's Combat experience has to do with his civilian job.........please?

Some folks with an agenda seem to think that military service is a pass for being a POS years later, its not. We all served with some worthless POS and many just do military service as a "Check the Box" activity when they have political office in mind. I know a couple of worthless POS that sought office for power and enrichment over selfless service and we have a number of them that many know, Charles B. Rangel, Barney Frank, John Kerry, John McCain etc.

Things change, look at McCain’s actions during captivity and for some time as a politician. He changed, not got the better.

I don't see too much difference between then and now regarding John McCain. Still stubborn as anything:
"The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Commander [then Lieutenant Commander] John Sidney McCain, III (NSN: 0-624787), United States Navy, for heroism while participating in aerial flight on 26 October 1967 in North Vietnam. While attacking the thermal power plant at Hanoi, Commander McCain, despite extremely heavy and accurate anti-aircraft fire and more than fifteen surface-to-air missiles in the air, pursued the attack until his aircraft was hit by enemy anti-aircraft fire. Although his aircraft was severely damaged, he continued his bomb delivery pass and released his bombs on the target. When the aircraft would not recover from the dive, Commander McCain was forced to eject over the target. By his exceptional courage, superb airmanship, and total devotion to duty, Commander McCain reflected great credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service."

Look at how he treated his first wife, who campaigned relentlessly on his behalf while he was a captive. When he arrived home and saw how badly she'd been injured in a vehicle accident, he dropped her like yesterday's news. The man has zero integrity.

Actually they stayed married for a while after his return but McCain did cheat on her with another woman whom he later married after he divorced his first wife.
