Ha, that reminded me of back in the 60 when I was going through B-52 training in California. One of the guys in the class was a California native but didn't have to pay state taxes because he was stationed out of state. When he updated his drivers license with his new address he was informed that since he was back in the state he owed state income tax again.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen The first piece of mail I received at my home of record in CA, after my discharge in 1956 was a state income tax bill from CA.
