I am married to a former supply guy. This is the truth. Dealing with Supply in any of the services is painful on a good day.

Lt Col Charlie Brown During AIT in 1953, we had a short field exercise and drew a TA-50 issue. At the conclusion of that exercise, a PFC Supply clown told me to sign a statement of charges for causing excess wear to a canteen cover. That was my first challenge in the Army. Of course, as a very quiet, mild mannered, PVT 1, I din’t sign nuthing!

Remember this is duffle blog, satire, the First Marine female did graduate and completed the course. She didn't need to be recycled and didn't actually lose Her canteen cup as far as I can tell. All the credit to Her and any others that completed the course. I'm all in favor of meeting all standards but understand the difference between satire and factual information for humor value. If She had in fact even lost that cup it seems paying for it or replacing it would be the most that would be reasonable. I'm not for nickeling and diming anyone that completed the course or for any other reason.
