LTC (Join to see) Fire breaks. I was there in the 90s with Sheridans. Almost got plastered by one in the middle of a fire fight. We were in retrograde and they were moving forward. I had to dive out of the way. The tanker stopped long enough to ask if I was ok. Scouts and tankers don’t mix well in the 82nd.

LOL. It's been 20 years since I've been there, but I was at Ft Bragg in the 70s, 80s, and 90s and NEVER heard anyone refer to any of the firebreaks or roads in the training areas of Ft Bragg as "tank trails" because, well, there were no tanks at Ft Bragg. We had the Sheridans for a while, but they left a long time ago. And they didn't call the firebreaks "tank trails" either. Either Bragg has changed a great deal, or maybe this guy is a Ft Bragg poser. :)
As for the Queen of Battle nickname, that obviously refers to the game of chess, where the queen is the most powerful and versatile piece, while the King is limited and pretty useless, and the game usually ends with the Queen in position to make the King fall over and give up. ;)

Damn Sir. The second part of your post sounds like a Soldier going through divorce after finding out his stripper wife was never going to be faithful.
I've never been on Bragg, but AP Hill had firebreaks and tank trails. They weren't one and the same. Riley was the same way.
BTW He's a reserve DS and a cop in real life. Freakin hilarious. She's also a cop in his PD and fitness junkie. I think she too is reserves
