On the surface title, I would be furious and livid. But when you read the article it comes out a little more positive. As Paula Neira says in the article: "There is no one doing these assessments that is an expert in transgender health, so they have to figure things out as they go along," These recruits are taking longer than the cis-gender recruits because of this new situation that we needed to study. Despite the request to extend the delay for new recruit entries, I won't be surprised if the DoD Study Group that was forming last early Summer transitioned to study "the negative effects of trans service members" instead of fixing a realistic issue that was scheduled to hit January 1st 2018.

As for Sparta, without citing their sources I won't believe them. They also said they're the premier trans-American service member organization but it's very selective on who joins and are quick to remove certain members. But that's another topic for another time.
