Good article. I don’t agree with all of it. I directly supported the School of the Americas. There were good and bad people we trained.

The article states: “the US does bear responsibility for its role in the circumstances that cause people to leave their home countries”. I can see how someone can say that... but I don’t agree with it.

My opinion is: At the end of the day it is the Socialist Countries that cause the ripe conditions for violent governments and gangs to thrive, not what we did decades ago. Those people have to start taking responsibility for their own actions. What will happen if we go that way here in the US? Will we fight to keep our way of life to not go Socialist? Or will we meekly slide across to border to Canada and request asylum?
