Oh nuts! That is a painful lesson. I must have missed the type of weapon and holster. He obviously had a round chambered as I would expect. I guess this is why the Army teaches how to lift correctly or squat down instead of simply bending over.

LTC (Join to see) - Definitely there is more to the story. I carry a Glock 19 daily...unless I am on Ft. Knox. This guy had to really screw up the holstering or is using a defective holster. Bottom-line, the gun did what it was suppose to which is go Bang when the "bang switch" is pulled.

Interesting ideas on how this could have occurred. I have never carried appendix carry, just not comfortable.
