Men are less sympathetic arrests. People expect men to do stupid/criminal things and many do not disappoint. Just look at the prison population. This sort of activity is going at the human trafficking issues we face at the very end of it rather than further up the food chain. It is easier to arrest someone soliciting a (fake) prostitute than to break up an actual human trafficking ring. We all know the issues of women being trafficked into this country, many across our southern border.

I've seen plenty of women targeted on those cop TV shows or documentaries where the cops act as male johns and set up a meeting with a female prostitute through the internet. The cops act like they want sex, and then arrest the woman.

Didn't say it never happened but we all know men are primary targets and these "shows or documentaries" are produced by the same industry that says "sex sells".

SN (Join to see) - I would say that men are the primary target because men are the primary users of prostitution. there is a thing about prioritizing resources to get the most bang for the buck. :)

LTC (Join to see) - Fine, but as this is also entrapment, is this even legal and couldn't the "resources" be better put towards violent criminals who rape elderly grandmothers or the myriad of crimes illegals commit daily?
