With the potential to do therapeutic good, why do you think Congress won't change the law to allow them to do research for it?

I really think with medical marijuana being out for so many years and all the research done on it I think the federal government should seriously look into legalizing medical marijuana. From my perspective it looks like they are saying no to medical pot because they are saying it's an illegal drug and has been for a long time so no... instead of looking at the research.

The Government would have to do their own research. The can't do that because it is Federal Illegal. They do NOT want to get a waiver so they stick their heads back in the ground and say there is no proof. Catch 22.
