The Minnesota-based 3M Company allegedly sold its dual-ended Combat Arms Earplugs, Version 2, to the Defense Logistics Agency without disclosing defects that decreased the actual effectiveness of the hearing protection the device offered.

...And the whistle-blower pockets nearly $2M. Dayumm. Now what about the SM's with permanent hearing damage. Oh, I know, fight it out with the VA.

Ha! Nope. Your hearing loss is not service connected....but we'll give you hearing aids anyway.

Odd my hearing loss IS service connected AND I get part of my disability payment from that.. 10% each ear for 20%.

All who have hearing loss due to these devices should have the automatic option and the military should furnish them with legal representation until their lawsuit is settled !!!
