Why Bayonet Training is Still Important for Today's Troops

CPL Dave Hoover-Not that I ever had to use it in combat,but it was the most reliable weapon on my jamming M16 in Vietnam,one of my least favorite duties at Ft. Polk was a fill in instructor on the grenade range,those shaking trainees gave me the willies,couldn’t wait to get back to the swamps of the patrolling range.

you had the the lugs for them .. but probaly never used them is all.. they were probaly locked away in the ARMS Room
i Had one issued to me with my m16 for desert storm...
