Whenever I see the word "Truth" in a headline (especially when it is capitalized or, even worse, set in all uppercase), my suspicions are aroused. However, there is "truth" in this essay. And there are untruths. For example, "For many unfamiliar with the history, the mistake is a forgivable one." Which mistake? The misinterpretation of the words in the Second Amendment. I don't find the mistake "forgivable". Unfamiliarity with our history is "willful ignorance". I won't argue with your right to an opinion, but if that opinion is based in willful ignorance of the Constitution and our history, I will simply ignore it.

Glad that we are coming back around to the view that what the founding fathers wrote is what they meant

I have never had any difficulty understanding plain English. The Second Amendment to the Constitution means what is written. Technology has given the liberal media instant access to the citizens of America and with that access the ability to influence America's interpretation of events instantly. The protections contained in the 2nd Amendment are needed now more than ever.
