Wow CW5 Jack Cardwell. Maybe it's time to change carriers.

CW5 Jack Cardwell - Therein lies the problem: Verizon has the widest and most reliable coverage.

SSG Carlos Madden CW5 Jack Cardwell True. But ATT has a dedicated network exclusively for first responders. No bandwidth limitations.

Yes, and determine if they price gouged. Down here in Puerto Rico, I'm seeing a WHOLE LOT of American companies and contractors charging WAY TOO MUCH for jobs that Puerto Ricans could easily have done for much less money — often 50% or 1/3 of the US cost. In many cases, we're not talking super skilled labor, either.

Nicci Eisenhauer Ya, that pretty much follows any disaster and suspect Puerto Rico doesn't have many laws to prohibit it.

1) They had an unlimited plan. Unfortunately, those really aren't unlimited.
2) There was interrupted service to ONE vehicle, not all firefighters as the headline suggests.
3) To try and tie this to Net Neutrality is ridiculous. These throttling efforts by the carriers have occurred for years... It sounds like the author of the article really wanted to put an anti-Net neutrality article about there....
4) Why is a city agency working on an individual plan? $99.99 is the amount for 1 or 2 lines, makes me suspicious...

City Comptroller probably wouldn't let them get anything else. Have seen too many bureaucratic bean counters force agencies into whatever is cheapest.
