Well that Disestablishment didn't Last Long. Disestablished in 2011 reestablished 2018.

Maybe one of my Navy brethren can clue in this land-lubber, but what was the logic in eliminating 2d fleet in the first place? Saving money on admirals?

1SG (Join to see) If it was anything like the "Elimination" "Disestablishment" of the Naval Security Group that I worked for that was More Smoke and Mirrors than anything else. NSG went bye bye an all of a sudden there is NIWC Navy Information Warfare Command and then to further Muddy the water there is the New 10th Fleet. What is the Difference? Absolutely Nothing, Who worked for NSG? CTs, Who works for NIWC/10th Flt CTs. Respectfully CTO1.

SPC Jon O. I Never had any Real Connection to 2nd Flt, I did go to CIAC Career Information and Counseling School in Norfolk but 1 week is not enough time to Truly Appreciate that area.
