"Under Higgins’ new bill, which has no cosponsors, members of Congress would have to pay for their own drug screenings and would be reported to the House or Senate Committee on Ethics if they test positive for illicit substances". Midterms are around the corner and this guy won't have many friends in office from either party for actually trying to do the right thing

Remember when they tanked the bill that would subject them to insider trading laws? Yeah, it almost seems like Congress enjoys being liars and crooks... both sides, too.

Great idea. These congressional critters make us do drug test. They should not be scared of it....and if so, we do not need them.
