This classic 1979 movie has an All-Star cast including John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, John Candy, Robert Stack and others from Second City television. You may even recognize one of the smart ass students from Animal House. The setting of this movie was around Christmas 1941 and Japanese submarines are harassing shipping on the West Coast, paranoia is at its highest and you have a rogue P-40 Tomahawk pilot looking for Japanese airfields in the Inland Empire of California. This is a crazy movie but some of this craziness did come true. The Japanese submarine did shell Santa Barbara and they did sink a few ships off of the West Coast
