I have a suspicion that we do not want Ukraine to win too quickly and decisively to prevent the acceleration into a nuke war. We are holding back on longer range weapons and bombs that can be dropped from planes that would decimate large formations of vehicles at once. Thus far our aid to Ukraine has been measured.
The logistics from the US to Ukraine for weapons and munitions is massive. Fortunately, our military has experience in moving mountains due to the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars.
