Sent a delegation in his place? The leaders of France and Germany somehow made it, but not our POTUS? That says a lot.

Pretty sure the British PM was not there either. The leaders of Britain and France motorcaded in as the site is driving distance of Paris. This is also a series of ceremonies not just one. British PM attended one earlier but skipped this one.

SSgt Gary Andrews - Automobile but apparently less of a security concern. Regardless the White House announced POTUS would be at that very same Cemetary today laying a wreath.........so it's not even an issue.

Everyone is making this into a bigger mess than it needs to be. There's only one thing that makes his travel plans: whether the elements will affect his perilously stacked hairdo.

He just postponed the visit the Left jumped all over him without the proper wait and see of the White House Calendar to see if the visit was to be rescheduled. He has it rescheduled today. Also, it is not like he left the four powers standing there. Only France and Germany showed up to the yesterday event. Britain didn't show and Russia didn't show. British PM attended a different ceremony in Belgium as alternate to this one.

SSgt Gary Andrews - His helo was grounded. The secondary option was to motorcade in which he didn't want to spend the time but he used security concerns.......his choice. I am not offended in the least. Who else is still memorializing WWI? Do you see the British PM in the picture at all?

MAJ Bryan Zeski - The British PM was not there she attended an earlier ceremony and quite honestly this is a several day long series of ceremonies if I am not mistaken.

SPC Erich Guenther did the British PM cancel? Nope. If you say you're going to do something, do it.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - The British PM was not there yesterday. If you read carefully the pictures you see of her on a SUNNY DAY are at a cemetary in Belgium not France. This was a visit to a Cemetary in France just a drive outside of Paris. Also the POTUS did not cancel he will visit the same cemetary today to lay the wreath he was going to lay yesterday. All he did was postpone.
