Many first time congress electees find themselves sleeping on the couch in their office, or on a friends couch until they start drawing their regular salary. She got a check for $1288.96 in October? Wow.....that should be plenty to land a furnished apartment in Washington DC......huh? Heck, she had money in her checking account 7 months ago.....so what's the problem? I'm sure her living expenses there in New York City are next to nothing.....right? There is plenty you might want to criticize this woman for if you don't agree with her politics......but calling her a POS because she can't afford a Washington DC apartment? Really? Like a lot of other freshmen congressmen from both parties experience? You might have just a little bit of bias showing, MSgt.

The vitriol around this young woman has so disgusted me. They would criticize her if she showed up in rags.

She LIED. What part of that do you not understand. That is why I called her a POS. "I can’t really take a salary. I have three months without a salary before I’m a member of Congress," yet she DID TAKE A SALARY. She was just trying to make headlines. Just like Hillary saying she was "dead broke" when they left the White House, yet she had expensive cars and TWO houses, one in New York!

MSgt (Join to see) - She hasn't had a salary from Congress yet, and that's exactly what she was talking about. So POTUS lies daily. Daily. Are you just as incensed every time he deliberately lies since he is already in office?

I predict she will be another piece of work like Cynthia McKinny was who was from Georgia. A victim or super privileged individual who always played the victim!
