Whatever his motivations, he illegally transported himself to this island (the 2 fisherman who took him were arrested) and recklessly exposed the island natives to our diseases. I believe sometimes Americans don’t think other nation’s laws apply to us (vandalizing in Singapore, stealing in North Korea, backpacking in Afghanistan, etc.) and I hope stories like this prevent others from trying the same thing.

Some of our citizens don't recognize our own laws when it comes to borders. As long as those people believe we are all "global citizens" this will be the consequence of their actions with regard to their worldview. Darwinism works as it should.
