Don't have a 92 anymore, but I just use some sandpaper and polishing compound, works on any firearm. I always look at it as the old timers did, get good at using a file.
By the way, that old Colt Commander that I restored, this weekend I re-nickle plated the barrel bushing, main spring housing, grip safety and the recoil spring plug..

A bad trigger can ruin a firearm. I'm no gunsmith so I like jobs I can do myself. I'm more confident when I have people around me like TSgt David L. who can tell me what are good products or not but I just moved and lost all my local contacts!

LTC Charles Blake - If you go slow and repeatedly check your progress it is doable at home. I just hate to see folks ruin a firearm and have to spend more money to buy another trigger.

Selling the tools of the trade is great for the guys that own the firearms, but knowing what and how much to work is the other side of the coin. I can sell you wrenches and sockets to work on your own car, but unless you know HOW and WHAT to do you may make things worse. You can get a great trigger job for the $165-180 that they want for the kit.
Just my 2 cents from someone with some knowledge on cars, bikes and guns.

Agree on the tools - a 2mm roll pin punch is not an old drill bit that's close.
