"Footage from the incident at the Lincoln Memorial shows the teenagers mocking Nathan Phillips, director of Native Youth Alliance, as he sang, with one boy "standing directly in front of the Phillips, smiling. According to Native American media, Phillips is an elder in Omaha and a veteran of the Vietnam War." Hope the smug little snot in the video enjoys his 15 minutes of fame. I'm sure his parents are overwhelmed with pride in their insolent, disrespectful spawn.

This has already been debunked. The boys had finished attending a right to life protest and were waiting for their bus. The Native Americans were getting ready to start a protest of their own. A third party of black men, calling themselves "Hebrew Israelites" were accosting the the boys, uttering racial comments and calling out the black kids among the high school boys. The "Hebrew Israelites" were also shouting racial slurs at the Native Americans.
Nathan Phillips, leader of the Native American protest moved his group into the middle of the situation, hoping to diffuse it, and place himself and his predominantly adult males between the two groups, should violence erupt.
Mr. Phillips [leader of the Native American protesters] clarified that it was he who had approached the crowd and that he had intervened because racial tensions — primarily between the white students and the black men — were “coming to a boiling point.” “I stepped in between to pray,” Mr. Phillips said.
The youth you labeled a "smug little snot;" In his statement, Mr. Sandmann said he did not antagonize or try to block Mr. Phillips. “I did not speak to him. I did not make any hand gestures or other aggressive moves,” he said.
I suspect Mr. Sandmann, was smiling in the entire situation because he felt a show of fear would have only prompted more aggressive attitude from the "Hebrew Israelites." When a few students finally started to return the taunts of the "Hebrew Israelites," young Mr. Sandmann turned and motioned for them to knock it off; a very responsible and adult response to the situation.

I have seen. I'm still disgusted with the kids. I'm just now also disappointed with Nathan Phillips. But really, this is kind of the whole Trump vs the Left thing as I've been seeing from the very beginning: they ALL disgust me. I disagree with Trump. I disagree with the Left. I want none of it.

Ok so if a 60 year old man walked up to your 16 year old son and banged a drum in his face and hen went in tv and accused him of being a bigot even though he just stood there during the encounter you would be OK with that?
