I want to know what the Army will do with us broken soldiers on permanent profile. A don't know the numbers, but I bet 10% of the force have medical issues that would prevent passing the new test.

"The Army has been making overtures about the importance of talent management, of getting the best qualified and highest performing soldiers into the positions that best fit their skills and knowledge, rather than simply moving personnel around to fill openings based on who’s up for new orders first (Army Times, 2019)."
According to that, I believe those who are incapable of doing their job due to profile limitations may face a medical board whose ultimate intent is to transition incapable troops out. Keep in mind that it will not be in such a manner that renders veterans with no benefits. They will still receive an annuity and based off of their disability determination with the VA, they will also receive a fair compensation for the ailments incurred while serving.
Is this truly fair? I am torn about it. I think that is a yes an no answer that must be specific to the Soldier in question. I do believe we need to make the hard right with some though.
