From all the shell identifiers in the yard, there were a lot of bullets flying. I suspect after a deep investigation, there will be drug/gang involvement. I don't know this, I'm being prejudicial and profiling.

Yes, that definitely provides additional support for magazines that have more than ten rounds.
Most folks, well anti-gun folks, don't look at the number of rounds needed to incapacitate an attacker. Average for self defense is ~2 rounds (1.7-2.0 somehow caliber dependent in the data). Another article stated when more than 2 rounds were fired from a semiautomatic, the defender fired until the slide locked to the rear.
