I got burned on the Hitler quote and one of the founding fathers quotes back in 2004. Since that time I would verify the quotes before I repeated them. Then, twice since then I trusted the source again, and both times I got burned again. You just have to research this stuff on your own. If you get 3 trusted sources, then you are ALMOST positive that it is true, or make sure it is in a document you can trust that is written down.
