I guess they forgot to coordinate.

So why didn't the "dealer" cops co-operate with the arresting cops? Did somebody start throwing some muscle around, and getting the undercover "dealer" cops angry? Or were the "dealer" cops upset at having their operation disrupted, and give the arresting cops a hard time?
It's going to be an interesting investigation.
