When I was at school, I brought up about Roosevelt’s Civil Conservation Corps and use that idea to get people of welfare...
the teacher didn’t take that idea very good.. I commented my dad works to support his family and some leech that wants to lay on their Butt and suck cancer sticks and drink beer and draw a check from the govt which is us the taxpayer... I obviously rubbed some leeches kids the wrong way.. They went home.. told mommy and she calls her welfare agent who contacts the congressperson.. They asked me what my dad does ..
he works and has a job I said .. my
Answer’s too sarcastic.... Mom worked too and she said couldn’t afford to take off to to answer for her kid that told the truth.. So I think I got one of the first in-school suspensions in them days.. (‘63)....
The whiner’s parent wasn’t cool with that.
They thought I should of been thrown out of school.

CCC is still a thing. My GrandMother had the computer lab at the facility in Pisgah National Forest almost until her daeth.
