Thank you, my friend SSG(P) (Join to see) for sharing the unsurprising news from militarytimes.com

If they are deployment ready job capable and having no affect on morale or readiness, what is the big deal? Seems like a petty policy to me. Am I missing something?

Hi SSG(P) (Join to see), thanks for sharing this link. We intend to continue doing what we always have, protect and defend the constitution of the united states. This new ban, while annoying, is temporary. When the next president is elected I sincerely doubt it will be continued. Over 1,500 service members are openly transgender right now, and they've served with distinction in a time of war. Another 13,500 are estimated to be serving in silence, afraid of the consequences they would face were they to come out. To date, not a single one of these 15,000 service members have caused a news worthy complication or problem in their unit resulting from their transgender status; with so many serving right now you'd think there'd be plenty of evidence to justify this ban, if it truly were justifiable.
To sum up, we'll keep serving in whatever capacity we can until this ban is terminated by either the executive, legislative, or judicial powers that be.
