I read the whole thing.
It sounds like they had Smollett dead to rights.
I also found it noteworthy that he was treated with kid gloves while in custody - protected fom the media, snuck in via discreet entrances, offered breakfast (!), segregated from other perps, never handcuffed. Treatment I would submit is not afforded average perps.
Some kind of ninja lawyering was at work here. Either that or the DA has no moral compass.
I can see the lawsuits flying already. Round two will be interesting.
