Very true. There are reports that the cost has gone up by about $10 across the country and it's sold out in stores. I think it used to be a $28 bottle but I got it yesterday for $34

I quit going to AA as the leader had to have the most miserable life. After talking about alcohol for an hour, I wanted to drink. I have been clean for a few years :)

SSG Carlos Madden Expensive does not always mean better. Personal taste preferences also are very different from each consumer as well. I will definitely try, but my advice is to try many different bourbons until you find what you like. Cheers

I've been into the Elijah Craig small batch, Buffalo Trace, and the Knobb Creek 100 proof small batch. Those are all reasonably priced.
