They all had goblets made and the met annually at a location TBD. They all toasted to the fallen and whenever one of them passed away they inverted his goblet and it stayed that way. I guess thelast goblet is inverted. RIP My warrior brother.

At the Raiders 60th Reunion held in Columbia, SC two of the Grandsons attending The AirForce Academy accompanied the entire set of goblets from the Academy to the reunion and back! Remember their names were engraved both ways right side up as well as inverted. That year they even had a B-25 Flyover while 13 of the Raiders stood along the third base line of the the minor league club known as the Capitol City Bombers( it sure was an awesome sight seeing that).

IMHO the Doolittle Raid was as courageous as it gets. Sad to see his passing as well as his fellow flyers. As a child I remember reading "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo" and being inspired by those who participated. May they all rest in peace. Salute.
