I remain unconvinced the "deep state" exists. I do not dismiss the idea, however. There would have been a great deal of coordination and communication to support this coup. So far, I have seen nothing that convinces me that this occurred

SGT James Murphy , I have seen none of those emails and heard none of those witnesses. I don't trust politicians on either side nor do I trust the media to give me the truth. If I see it I will believe it. If you have those emails I would love to see them. If you have video of those witnesses being grilled I would love to see those as well. Just because a politician or news media gives me information that I might want to believe, doesn't mean I accept it without verification. Politicians and news media are, to me, like teenagers...if their mouth moves I am suspicious

Oh yes. I watch Fox News every day. I also tune in CNN every day. If CNN says there are emails and don't show them to me, I am skeptical. If Fox News says there are emails and doesn't show them to me I am skeptical. The media , like politicians, routinely share excerpts that support their perspective and cut out any piece that might give someone a different perspective. I want to see the whole thing, not just the piece they want to show me. As I said before, to me they are like teenagers. Contrary to what they say, the news media has an ax to grind just as politicians do. That is true on both the left and the right. While I am generally considered to be on the right, that doesn't mean I automatically accept something just because I am inclined to agree. My wife has some very strong Democrat friends. One of them, a teacher/librarian, said I am the worst of all because of my political perspective. I wear it as a badge of honor. I took basic and AIT at Ft. Leonard Wood. I guess Missouri rubbed off on me.
