Thanks. Excellent post. So many claim to understand the bible but the moment you listen to them you realized all they are doing are regurgitating whatever they are told. Men wrote all existing religious texts in all the major religions. Male dominance in religious culture is a common theme in all of them. Not a coincidence.
Then again I do enjoy the romanization of the Amazonian culture. Haha!

What most Christians fail to realize that the Jews originally had a pantheon of gods, just like every other culture in that age. El was the original creator god, not Yahweh, and was mated with Asherah. Yahweh later became the "one" god of the Jews, and he ordered the destruction of Asherah's temples.
