Here we go... Mueller speaks!

We are finally going to hear directly from Special Counsel Mueller.
After all that has transpired, I can't wait to hear what he has to say.

Looks like a nothing burger, which is disappointing.
Mueller basically said he isn't going to testify in front of Congress without a subpoena and he wants to be a private citizen again.
More or less he reiterated what the Mueller report says. No Collusion, inconclusiveness on Obstruction of Justice, but that the forum for that is not within the purview of the Justice Department.
He implied strongly that any action against the President must be done via Congress and Impeachment.
Now I guess we wait and see what Congress says about this.

No, what he said, as the report says, they found insufficient evidence to make a charge.

No, DoJ policy prevented him from making a charge. Yes, it is up to Congress.
Note: Muller also stated had they found Trump did not commit a crime, they would have said so. That is NOT "inconclusiveness."

I sincerely wish people would actually vote as you say, but far too often it is more a case of voting against rather than for something.

Please name one, just one, publicly known Democrat that has ever said or implied that. That line is nothing more than right-wing propaganda designed to divided us. We have been trying to pass a comprehensive immigration bill for a long time, but because we want to include Dreamers, the Republicans have blocked us from even putting it up for a vote.

1SG John Furr - Thank you for that polite reply. It is the ones that blindly follow Trump, even when before he won the nomination they stood in line to bad-mouth him that really upset me.
I understand the idea of voting for the person you believe will do what is best for you and your family. I vote for the person who I believe will do the best for our nation. The two are not necessarily the same.

As to the idea they pass one bill and not include the Dreamers, we all know the second part would never be allowed on the floor of the Senate. King Mitch has said so. Bills are combined to allow both sides to get something they want. It is called compromise. Since the so-called "Freedom caucus" came to power, the Senate has not been able to compromise on very little. I was surprised they passed the diesters relief bill (which a Republican in the House blocked).

I hope the standard in the United States is still a person is innocent until proven guilty. In that case, Pres Trump is not guilty of collusion with Russians. In which case, it is difficult to make a case for obstruction of justice, because there is no underlying crime the investigation of which was obstructed.
It's time for Congress and the President to move on to doing the work of the People. If nothing else gets done, We the People should expect Congress and the President to pass and sign budgets and authorizations. We should hold them accountable at the ballot box if they don't get this job done. Lots of other stuff would be nice like immigration reform, infrastructure improvement, health care reform, passing the US-Mexico-Canada Trade Treaty. We need a budget and authorizations so the Government can continue to work without continuing resolutions and other non-solutions to the problem.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Poor Steve, no collision, no obstruction, Mueller gone, special counsel office closed and now you have to rely on Chunky Nadler, Hairplugs Schumer and Dazed and Confused Pelosi to try to deliver you Trump on a platter. You are teamed up with a bunch of losers but I am sure you are right at home there mister E8, just couldn't make it all the way to E9, just too hard eh. Those NBC gigs are just too tough aren't they.

The thing is, I know you are full of it, and you know you are full of it, and what's more, you know that I know you are full of it; trying to represent yourself as something more than you are, and denying who you actually are. What kind of low self esteem, sad-sack, no integrity having individual does that? Oh yeah, the kind of individual that supports Trump and has no idea what he is talking about more than half the time.
