Does reading fiction make us better people?

Gives one broader horizons with their mind, at the very least.

I read both. Why not?
My library is filled with works on history (mostly our nation's), anthropology, and political. But in equal numbers is Michener, Wouk, Stan Lynde, Mari Sandoz, Tony Hillerman, and others. A lot of biographies.

It helps with the imagination. Great share.
