Aaaaand we're back at playing the games. Granted the USN has had some collision problems in the recent past but this doesn't seem to be inattentiveness. Instead this looks more likely to be a cat and mouse game on the part of the Russian destroyer captain.

Some in the DoD are considering it as an act of "aggression". And Putin keeps insisting that he never has nor will interfere in anybody's elections. He seems to be more emboldened despite the fact that the DOJ has indicted 12 Russian military members due to the Russian extensive cyber attack.

SSgt Richard Kensinger He wants Russia to regain its status as a world power. In order to do that he needs to disrupt the current world order and that disruption involves making sure we cannot retain our status as the only world superpower.
