That's why Eisenhower made sure it was filmed. I've said this before, all the Holocaust deniers need to learn German and go read the Nazi archives. Germans are notoriously meticulous record keepers. By the way, teaching the Holocaust is a Florida state mandated requirement. I have taught both "Night" and "The Diary of Anne Frank" as well as its history in all of my eighth grade English/Language Arts classes. CPT Jack Durish

Mandated Holocaust education depends on donors to survive
In 1994, Florida made news as one of the first states to mandate Holocaust education in public schools. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade were required to learn about the systematic destruction of Jews by the Nazis during World War II and the importance of tolerance and diversity in a democratic society.

SGT (Join to see) - Yes, and General Eisenhower also made the local German civilian population come through those camps to see first hand what their German Government had done ! He wanted to make sure they saw and knew and that this would never happen again.

A very good reason also NOT to ever forget these horrible events and make sure these things never happen again. History will repeat itself if the lessons are never learned, that can't be allowed to happen ever !
