Good morning RP. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Eagle Rising." Since we are coming up on the 50th anniversary of the Flight of Apollo 11 (July 16-24, 1969), I expect we will be seeing a few more of these. Gotta get me a pair of the glasses, though. Anyway, today's image features the lunar module ascent stage, dubbed The Eagle, rising to meet the command module (Columbia) in lunar orbit on July 21. Aboard Eagle are Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the first to walk on the Moon. Seems like only yesterday.

This is probably a great image in 3D Maj William W. 'Bill' Price, but since I don't have any red/blue glasses I cannot see it in its full glory...
