I was in London on vacation at the time. Having lived through IRA-England in the 70's and 80's it was a bit surreal. Due to traffic problems with people getting hit by cars by stepping in to the road to take selfies, my wife and I tend to avoid that bridge/road anyway.

Good morning LTC,
"shedding new light on the perpetrators, their paths to radicalization, pre-attack planning, and on the attack itself."
"He further exposed himself to radical ideas through listening online to extremist preachers such as the Jamaican Abdullah Feisal and Ahmad Musa Jibril, watching IS videos and propaganda and being part of a WhatsApp group chat used by other British extremists. By around the peak of IS’ power in mid-2014, Butt became significantly more radical, describing Shias as “non-Muslims”.
Why are the Sunni warriors following Su'en called radical? According to Sunni Islam, the Shia are non-Mulsim. AKA Apostates.
Every day, just in America and Canada, warriors for Su'en preach the Koran and spread it on Social Media like Youtube videos. The FBI know this and call it extreme speech. But to Sunni's within their Mosques, it is the words of their perfect man. A man who murdered and raped.
Our so called government doing the bidding of those who voted for them have created a problem and have given us the solution to the problem. Large Central government and control of speech as extreme speech, or hate speech.
The low information voter is just too stupid to know it and does not read the sayings of a mad man called Muhammad.
This is but one example of a full court press to destroy American culture. The poor are being used on the US southern border to create a State within a State. I bet the government has a solution to that issue as well.
The solution is to treat Islam like the New York Mob. Jail time, fines, property taken away and deportations. Soon, they will fear making war on civilization. But that would be a real solution. Not onboard the agenda to destroy American culture.
Have a good day Sir.

Or in the US - we could treat the hate throwing radicals with the same type of campaign we gave to the Klan.. such an attack on the pocketbook would be fought every step of the way by the anti-government leftists... as to be expected these days. But it could be done. Mosques would do a far better job of vetting imans if they knew it risked far more than a citation. If anyone wants to give radical jihadist ideology a platform, there should be a full application of the same laws in place already to force that voice and its supports - to pay up.

None of that is really a surprise. Social media in particular is a big part of extremist views.

Good point! Social media is but a platform to allow sharing of views.... and the ability to use it to a purpose as they did... more so after the attack... is an action to obtain additional results both in terrorizing the population, as well as in recruiting. It is a big part of everyone these days - to include the jihadists..... as well as governments.

This is why in the 80's, the BBC and others simply stopped giving the I.R.A. the time of day. "People were injured in an accident" is all the headline would say. This killed the IRA worse than the SAS.
