PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I do not like turtle soup. I do like fried turtle,the taste is quite different between the two.

SSgt Terry P. From the Article it sounds Like the "Key" Ingredient is Booze. You Cook anything in Booze It Tastes Pretty Good.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Turtle has a very distinctive flavor. In soup,for me,it is over-powering.When fried it loses a lot of the gaminess and has a unique taste and texture.
With the turtle soup,you either like it or you don't. lol
