What’s funny is this study counters the Trump supporting narrative as it’s conclusion affirms the racists of America have calmed down now the Black president is gone and has been replaced by a racist president.

This is a publication run by evangelical Christians, which means that they'll lie to prop up Trump.

Do you have any studies that refute it? The study was done by reputable sociologist. The study was mentioned else where if you read the article.

LTC David Brown - OK, lets go through the issues point by point.

1. The "study" has not been published in a peer-reviewed journal. It hasn't been published at all. It has just been mentioned. That's it.
2. The actual data shows a rise in anti-black prejudice, particularly among Republicans starting in 2017. It's only when you go back to 2009 that it shows a difference, with prejudice steadily falling during Obama's term in office, and then starting to rise under Trump. See Fig. 3, on p. 17 of the unpublished study.
3. The other publication is the Spectator, where UK politician Boris Johnson had been an editor. It has a conservative bias.
4. Other studies:
*Nazita Lajevardi & Kassra A. R. Oskooii, Old-Fashioned Racism, Contemporary Islamophobia, and the Isolation of Muslim Americans in the Age of Trump, 3 The Journal of Race, Ethnicity, and Politics , 112 (2018)
*C.S. Crandall, et al., Changing Norms Following the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election: The Trump Effect on Prejudice. 9 Social Psychological and Personality Science 186 (2018).
*Andrew L Whitehead, et al., Make America Christian Again: Christian Nationalism and Voting for Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential Election, 79 Sociology of Religion 147 (2018).
*Marc Hooghe & Ruth Dassonneville, Explaining the Trump Vote: The Effect of Racist Resentment and Anti-Immigrant Sentiments, 51 PS: Political Science& Politics , 528-534 (2018).

I could go on and on with countervailing studies, but suffice it to say that my original comment stands.

You have about 5 more minutes in which the Left will weigh in to debunk, in order to make it fit their narrative!

What’s to debunk. This study just argued racists are happy to have this guy in the White House and so they feel calmer that they are getting their America back. That’s exactly what the two Sociologists argued.
