In my opinion, It is so large that the beaurocracy stifles creativity & efficiency on the administration side... The medical staff sometimes suffers due to the intrinsic beaurocracy... Overall, however, the medical treatment for Veterans is excellent!

No. There are simply too many Veterans. Let's see is we can slow down producing so many.

SGT Thomas Seward - I agree abut our military. They are fantastic. But I am not sure that Afghanistan, like Vietnam, can ever be resolved with military force. That is without totally annihilating the entire country.

I am also of the opinion that without resorting to total destruction we will never ‘win’ in Afghanistan. You really can’t bomb people into the Stone Age if they already live in the Stone Age!
Capturing their leaders or killing their fighters simply adds fuel to the fire. Their clans are interwoven like a spiderweb where if you pull out one piece it resonates throughout.
I’m sure that everyone on here understands all of this...
