I discuss the Vietnam War at great length in my weblog, including both observations from my tour of duty and my view on the aftermath. Sadly, the history being taught in schools today is gleaned from the pages of news reports generated by journalists seeking to espouse an ideological view rather than the facts occurring at the time. And, as if that weren't bad enough, retrospectives by celebrity journalists like Mike Wallace continue to fan the flames that consume the truth and promote the lies. Fortunately, today's high school students are reaching out. Some have found their way to my blog as well as the book I compiled from my blog postings. I have seen their book reports appearing on websites and they give me hope that the truth will prevail. I hope that other veterans share their experiences so that our story isn't all one sided

The truth is the ground war was won. Thye same democrats that are trying to ruin this country today are the same bastards that cut promised funding to the South Vietnam. Congress just left the ARVNs on their own.
